Our Services

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

A full examination of any extremity, neck or back determining the cause of the underlying problem and the solution to the problem. A specific treatment plan will include personalized exercises to restore normal function and strength. As well as manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, cross friction, myofascial release, stretching and manual traction) and other modalities (electric stimulation, ultrasound) are used to speed up the healing process.

Balance Training

A comprehensive examination will determine level of fall risk and detect which part of the balance system is dysfunctional. Treatment involves specific balance exercise to restore normal stability, coordination and reduce fall risk to the lowest possible level. Fall recovery techniques are also taught during this portion of treatment.

Gait Training

A thorough analysis of the way you walk will allow us to determine what phase of walking is inefficient. Proper stretching, strengthening and instruction will be applied to improve posture and make the way you walk more efficient.

Home Safety Assessment

Conducting a home safety assessment can reduce fall risk and improve quality of living by implementing changes to the home environment.

Aquatic Therapy

An effective method of exercising that reduces pressure on hips, knees and backs from the buoyancy of water. The support water provides can reduce pain during exercise, provide increased balance and assist patients who have difficulty with coordination.
